  • Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 43 years of experience.
  • His expertise lies in Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Carotid Surgery, Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Vascular Trauma, etc.
  • His educational qualifications include an MBBS from G B Pant Hospital / Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, 1981, and an MS (General Surgery) from G B Pant Hospital / Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, 1986
  • He also earned a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), UK, in 1987 and underwent specialized training in Vascular Surgery in the UK.
  • He established one of India’s initial independent Vascular Surgery Departments in 1990.
  • Dr. Parakh co-founded the Vascular Society of India and the Endo-vascular Intervention Society of India.
  • He also served as Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, New York, USA, in 2007.
  • He pioneered the first government-recognized teaching program in vascular surgery accredited by the NBE.
